Thero Services embarked on a transformative journey in 2018 as they joined forces with a multi-disciplinary consulting team tasked with bringing the Strategic Area Framework (SAF) to life through the Mining Belt West Traffic and Transportation Road Master Plan. Their collaboration with experts in spatial planning, urban design, and environmental studies, alongside transportation and traffic engineering specialists, marked a strategic approach to addressing the complex challenges inherent in the project.

With a keen focus on environmental considerations, Thero Services navigated the intricate web of regulations and guidelines set forth by GDARD, ensuring that the final transport master plan aligned seamlessly with legal requirements. This entailed not only deciphering draft policies and regulations but also meticulously examining existing Environmental Authorizations, permits, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) applications within the study area. Additionally, Thero Services undertook the task of reviewing commissioned studies and delineating applicable buffer zones for critical areas such as Mine Residue Areas, Tailings Disposal Facilities, and Tailings Spillage Facilities, all essential components in the comprehensive development and implementation of the master plan.
