Thero Services, collaborating with Hatch Goba as the appointed Social and Sustainability Lead Consultant, contributed significantly to the Feasibility Study of the Nkout Iron Ore Project in the South Province of Cameroon. This endeavour, conducted by the International Investment Mineral Committee (IMIC) in conjunction with the Government of Cameroon, aimed to explore various business case models for the mining, processing, and transportation of iron ore. Thero Services played a pivotal role as the Social and Sustainability Lead, overseeing crucial aspects such as sustainable housing options for mine development, environmental and social considerations within the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) strategy, workforce planning, socio-economic assessments, encroachment studies, stakeholder engagement, and community development planning. Throughout these tasks, Thero Services exhibited unwavering professionalism and efficiency, demonstrating their commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
